As a Data Analyst in our UK Pricing & Underwriting Team, you'll use data-driven insights to identify fraudsters and to come up with new ideas to improve our pricing capabilities.Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Analysing the performance of our business using a variety of tools such as SQL, Tableau, Google Sheets and Python</li><li>Crafting insightful Tableau dashboards for monitoring purposes</li><li>Assisting senior management with quantitative analyses to forecast and calculate our Loss Rate</li><li>Developing intelligent, real-time notification systems via Slack or Databricks to streamline claim and policy investigations</li></ul>Our ideal candidate will possess:<ul><li>A recent degree and up to 1 year of experience in data analytics</li><li>Basic/intermediate SQL skills</li><li>The ability to use or learn Tableau</li><li>An analytical mindset and an understanding of basic statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing and statistical significance</li><li>Willingness to learn new tools such as Python</li></ul>Desirable Attributes:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills</li><li>Python or similar object oriented programming language skills</li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM</li></ul>Research shows that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single criteria. Our desired candidate will have a strong background in quantitative risk management and actuarial, ideally with some experience in reserving or reinsurance and a strong interest in working in a high growth, innovative environment.
