For our department Financial Accounting & Reporting we are seeking to appoint a Financial Reporting Actuary commencing immediately on a permanent, full-time basis to join our team in Bahrain.You can look forward to<ul><li>Compiling and processing actuarial reserve analyses (SII, IFRS, AAOIFI) and planning and forecasting information.</li><li>Reporting and analysis to meet regulatory requirements.</li><li>Drawing up quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS; including preparation of various disclosure requirements.</li><li>Drawing up quarterly and annual economic valuation in accordance with Solvency II.</li><li>Providing reporting packs to the signing Actuary and External Auditors</li><li>Analysis of portfolio / cohorts and related date entries to ensure modelling applied is consistent and in line with reporting standards, under various accounting regimes.</li></ul>You come equipped with<ul><li>Degree in Actuarial Science</li><li>Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years' valuations experience within a life insurance or reinsurance environment</li><li>Working knowledge of technical requirements and creative problem solving skills</li><li>Proven track record of the application of actuarial principles and methods</li><li>Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities</li><li>Competent skills in MS Office, SAP, VBA, any other programming languages</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>On a personal level, you can impress us with your strong analytical capabilities and an ability to work in a team.
