Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Commercial Pricing Actuary to join our Group Protection team. We’re offering a competitive base salary, a 12% car allowance (for qualified actuaries), and a strong benefits package.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Actuary with a strong background in Life Insurance and ideally pricing experience. Join us and contribute to our mission of achieving profitable growth while delivering exceptional value to our clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies for group protection products
- Conducting detailed pricing analyses and modelling
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development and pricing initiatives
- Monitoring market trends and competitor pricing strategies
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on pricing matters
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Supporting the development and maintenance of pricing tools and systems
- Communicating pricing recommendations and insights to stakeholders
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Newly Qualified Actuary or stopped studier with significant Life Insurance experience
- Strong background in pricing, preferably with group protection experience
- Proficiency in relevant actuarial software and tools like Excel, Snowflake, Alteryx, and SQL
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
