Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst

About the Role:

  • Understanding NA product structure and getting involved in ANSEG analysis
  • Thoroughly analyse the variances and provide inputs in VET tool suitably
  • Take control of FMS related work
  • Understanding of AXIS model
  • Review some of the work and controls performed by junior employees.
  • Responsible for updating the process documents or create new process document wherever it is missing and taking accountability of dynamically updating the same
  • Responsible and understanding of ICE costing and ipet functionality.
  • Providing support to business on:
    • process improvement
    • render help on other areas of valuation should there be a requirement
    • helping in testing & VRA related initiatives
  • Simplification of work process through automation, wherever necessary, in order to bring in process efficiency.
  • Getting involved in system UATs (ADAM, CRR, IETV etc.)

About the Team:

US L&H Business Management team is involved in quarterly valuation, Analysis and Reporting by Co-ordinating with the team in Bangalore and the team in Armonk/Fortwyne. Taking ownership of the tasks assigned and deliver the results conforming to the standards set by the unit. Pro-actively engaging with the team to improve the process.

About you:

  • Strong data organization and analysis skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Should be able to partner with team sitting in North America given time differences
  • Good team player
  • Strong learning motive
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in working with Spreadsheet and Database packages
  • At least 3 years working experience in insurance or reinsurance or other actuarial domain
