P&C Actuarial Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Taking role in conducting regulatory reportings of Actuary functions within Internal Systems Regulation
  • Preparing routine actuarial activity reports to the senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Review actuarial assumption methods of technical provisions and internal actuarial models
  • Performing new modeling and additional studies for technical provision estimations
  • Contributing to the process of reviewing profitability analyses in product pricing, reviewing technical principles of premium, provision and other calculations of products
  • Taking part in review of portfolio analysis, impact analysis, tariff profitability, LR studies
  • Performing controls related to actuarial calculations in accordance with the IFRS17 standards
  • Taking role in conducting other reports in case of request (portfolio analyses, analysis of relevant non-company data, budget analysis, studies on the profitability of the company or other related financial issues)

Qualifications:

  • Graduates from the Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Engineering departments of universities or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in Life / P&C actuarial modelling and/or reserves
  • Having knowledge of technical reserves and IFRS 17 standards
  • Preparation on actuarial exams and ambitious about having actuarial certificate
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and SAS, SQL programs
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail oriented and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a mindset of full ownership
