Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
Salary Range
$117,200.00 – $193,400.00

As a Sr. Manager on our Enterprise Risk Management team you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. This motivated individual will be instrumental in parameterizing various components of our capital model, analyzing and reviewing model outputs, and developing profitability targets for our business. They will serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of ERM and risk modeling.
This role will be responsible for:
- Leading the parameterization efforts of various components of the capital model.
- Analyzing model outputs, interpreting risk metrics, and developing profitability targets for multiple lines of business.
- Providing actuarial support for model version updates and enhancements.
- Performing analyses of key risk factors to optimize risk-adjusted returns and support the company’s target financial performance.
- Contributing to innovative projects aimed at enhancing the company’s overall risk framework.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on key initiatives.
What Will You Do?
Strategy:
- Hold a lead role in strategic planning and manage the successful execution of assigned initiatives and projects.
- Develop solutions to resolve challenges of an initiative.
- Propose change and innovation to improve project team performance and timelines.
- Participate on cross-unit initiatives and may participate on Enterprise initiatives.
Operational:
- Independently perform actuarial and analytic analyses to solve business problems.
- Drive day-to-day execution within the unit and support broad department initiatives.
- Promote efficiency across the primary working group.
- Make decisions independently in accordance with department practices.
- Provide direction and review others’ analytical work.
- Translate business requests into analytical solutions.
- Provide support for initiatives across the Enterprise.
Communication:
- Communicate analysis, project results, and other business initiatives regularly to staff, peers, and business partners.
- Communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience with guidance.
- Actively participate and may lead group discussions.
- Create formal written communication such as memos or presentations with guidance.
- Network and collaborate on ideas and challenges.
Talent:
- Staff responsibilities may include direct management of 1 to 2 individual contributors or interns.
- Execute and communicate talent development processes, including performance and personal development goals.
- Mentor less experienced talent across the Enterprise.
- Onboard new employees and interns in the unit.
- Support various training and skill development initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- College degree in a STEM-related field.
- Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (e.g., SQL, SAS).
- 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
- Management experience preferred.

Quantitative Analysis:
- Evaluate and use appropriate data, tools, and methods.
- Independently perform and implement analytics.
- Begin to design and contribute to more complex analytic work.
- Understand diverse perspectives to effectively accomplish business goals.
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis required.
