Munichre Service Limited, part of Munich Re, the worldβs largest reinsurer, is recruiting for a Senior Actuarial Manager to drive business growth in Hong Kong and Taiwan. As a key player in our Life & Health team, you will forge strong client relationships, develop new products, and promote digital solutions.
This position is based in Hong Kong and reports to the General Manager, Life & Health, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
YOUR ROLE
- Spearhead the negotiation and acceptance of life reinsurance business, adhering to company pricing and underwriting standards
- Deliver exceptional client service, including coordinating client requests, preparing quotations, and managing reinsurance accounts
- Foster key account relationships and lead business development initiatives
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Develop and maintain expertise in specific functional areas, such as group insurance
- Represent Munich Re Life & Health in local marketing activities and industry events
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or equivalent
- Qualified actuary (FSA, FIA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 8 years of insurance experience
- Proven track record in product development, risk management, and financial analysis
- Experienced in client relationship management and project/process management
- Demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and management experience in an international setting
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and deal completion skills
- Effective team builder, delegator, and decision maker
- Proficient in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin preferred
