The opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for early-career Actuarial professionals to join one of Australiaâs leading insurers in the role of Actuarial Analyst across short- and long-tail insurance products.
We are seeking people to:
- Support Actuarial Managers with providing value adding performance and reserving insights to divisional and Group colleagues
- Perform monthly BAU tasks and other Actuarial analysis as required
- Support ongoing actuarial claims performance monitoring to provide insights to the business.
- Be the âgo-to personâ for data analysis and support to senior Actuarial professionals, enabling the team to provide meaningful insights to the business
- Support QBEâs annual budgeting cycle, and provide ongoing analysis to support financial reforecasts of QBEâs P&L.
- Continuously seek process improvement and be part of the QBE Actuarial modernisation journey
Your story so far
- Youâre an Actuarial professional, potentially straight out of university as a graduate, or ideally with a small amount of experience under your belt.
- You enjoy analysing data and using actuarial judgement to provide meaningful insights to the business, enabling us to manage a profitable portfolio of insurance products.
- You are an exceptional communicator and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across a broader organisation to collaborate and achieve success.
