The opportunity

Are you ready to start your career in actuarial science? We’re looking for a highly motivated Graduate Actuarial Analyst to join our team and support our dynamic actuarial department.

This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates with a strong analytical background to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in the world of actuarial analysis.

Your new role

In this role, you'll report directly to an Actuarial Manager and rotate across key areas such as Capital Modelling and Reserving (Insurance and Reinsurance).

This offers you a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to all aspects of the actuarial field, building a well-rounded skill set for your career.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data to support actuarial models.
  • Work with senior actuaries to help design and implement actuarial solutions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development of pricing, risk, and forecasting models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
  • Help forecast reserves and assess risks to provide valuable insights for business reports, planning, and profitability analysis.
  • Help analyze reinsurance options to ensure the company makes the best use of its reinsurance purchases.
  • Assist in determining the company’s capital needs and creating reports and presentations for management and regulators to ensure strong capital management.

Skills you’ll need:

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • A keen interest in pursuing an actuarial career and achieving professional qualifications.
