Senior Actuary

As a Senior Actuary, you will lead actuarial expertise within the Product Development team responsible for reinsurance efforts of major product lines. This includes advising the executive team and/or business unit senior management on complex reinsurance structures and actuarial issues. You will be responsible for developing and supporting new reinsurance structures, pricing and negotiating reinsurance treaties, and managing reinsurance relationships for all lines of business. You will report to the SVP of Product Development in the Actuarial Department.
What you do:- You will lead projects that have major impacts on the enterprise.
- Major development and design of new reinsurance structures and transactions.
- You will negotiate and price new and existing reinsurance treaties.
- Manage, train, and direct the work of other managing actuaries, providing employee and career development.
- 11+ years of experience required in the Actuarial field with a preference for experience across annuities and life insurance and experience with reinsurance structures and treaties.
- Four-year degree required in Actuarial science, math, physics, economics, engineering, or related field.
- Achieved FSA, MAAA.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
Range: $117,000 - $234,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
