Actuarial Analyst

Description

Being an Actuarial and Analytics Center (AAC) analyst provides you the opportunity to work on different projects such as Reserving, Capital Modeling, Embedded Value, Pricing, and Statistical research.

Continuous training on software and actuarial topics is provided by North America and local consultants.

This position offers several options to interact and learn from many actuaries and consultants around the world.

The Role

  • Collaborate with North America and Latin America colleagues and local consultants on various projects, including:
  • Reserving calculation
  • Implementation of actuarial software
  • Statistical research
  • Product and market strategies, including pricing and predictive modeling
  • Product, Pricing, Claims, and Underwriting techniques and software
  • Enterprise risk and capital management, merger & acquisition, and corporate restructuring

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistical or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Strong written and verbal English skills with a demonstrated ability to interact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Programming knowledge (SQL, Access, VBA, R, Python) is desirable
  • 1 – 1.5 years of experience working in Insurance Companies or Data Consulting firms is desirable but not requisite
  • Well organized, committed to quality, and eager to learn
  • High standards in processing details, solving problems, delivering results, showing resilience, communicating information, and structuring tasks
