Position Title: Actuarial Analyst III

Location: Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Job Description: The Actuarial Analyst III completes very diverse and complicated projects and performs very complex actuarial studies.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Analyzes and implements risk contracts including conducting experience analyses, pricing, filing and settlement work; and prepares management reports supporting new capitation initiatives.
• Use analytical tools to perform sophisticated analysis to set unpaid claim reserves for Medicaid business.
• Explain drivers of results and financial impacts to leadership & business partners.
• Improve analytical reporting to provide additional insights and increase efficiency.
• Complete regulatory reporting.
• Assists in training of actuarial analysts.
• Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS and to have passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with data warehouses and knowledge of SQL.
• Valuation experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $96,800.00 to $158,400.00
